Hello, my name is Alfred Alva, retired, and I like working on websites and teaching how to do many things. Whats, the difference between A web developer and webmaster. A web developer develops website functionalities while a webmaster develops website functionalities and also does search engine optimization, marketing, web design, and more.
Do I need a website designer?
A responsive website leads to better user experience. A significant factor indicating the quality of user experience is the time they spend on your site. If they find it hard to navigate or use because they’re forced to pinch and zoom regularly, they won’t stay on your website.
Do you know all aspects of setting a website online? Terminologies like DNS, Cpanel, PHP, Dual Authentication, Hosting, Domain Name, FTP, Hostname, SSL, and many more things you have to read about or know already. Do you like calling support and trying to explain what is wrong with your website?
Alvanet is a freelance web service that is on-call 24/7, and I provide these types of answers and fix any things described above.

Do I need a website for my small business?
There are many reasons why a business like yours might need a website. In today’s world,
the phone book is becoming smaller in size and lost in the sea you call your junk drawer. Don’t let
your business drown in that same sea. You should at least have an essential website that gives your
potential customers a way to find you, contact you, and read about what you can offer them.
Why do I need a website 2020
You still find that your website isn’t generating any leads or consistently achieving the goals you have set out for it to accomplish. If you aren’t getting the results, you want. Your website is dynamic and alive. A website should exist to engage your customer base 24/7/365 actively…morning, noon, and night. As such, the data you are collecting from your site (the analytics) should demonstrate that it is consistently trending toward your goals. Your conversion paths should be evident and straightforward. They should consist of easy to understand landing pages, compelling CTA (call to action) statements with engaging images and video. If your website isn’t doing this, you’re missing out on precisely what makes your site so powerful! Your website should be the major primary source for collecting new data, members, leads, referrals, and revenue. If not, then it’s not performing at its maximum potential, and the time has come to take a close, hard look at how to get it on track and generating results.
Do I need a website built for my business?
How do most people find a business or service today? Search engines. Internet search
engines have mostly replaced the Yellow Pages as the primary source for finding information,
and companies have to embrace this change to continue growing. Most small
business organizations today have a web presence. What is the real challenge experienced
by the vast majority of these businesses? They know their web presence should be doing
more to help support and grow their business—they don’t have a clear understanding
of how to go about doing this.
Of course, there are many services and tools available—from web hosting companies
and search engine optimization services to content management tools and email
marketing providers—all of which make significant claims regarding how they can help. But
most of these are merely pieces to an overall picture. That’s why it’s important to select a seasoned web designer that can ask the right questions, handle all the technical parts, and get you on the right track.
All my customers(see below) have been with me for over 5 years because I handle most issues within 24 hours. My costs are the lowest in the industry and fair. My overhead is low so I don’t need to charge thousands of dollars for a web site.
Do not use website builder tools like Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Why?
How do most people find a business or service today? Some of these sites above state FREE and then upsell you to Premium, or you lose features that they know you need. The problem is they don’t tell you until you spend hours working on your page and then try to enable a feature! Just Google Wix, Squarespace, Shopify Complaints, and you will quickly see if that is the direction you want to go. Have you noticed most companies do not have live support any longer? That because tech support/customer support is a liability tax-wise and other costs. Most of these sites
Alvanet does not have contracts or penalties for leaving. I will ask for a 50% deposit to cover my costs of programming after one week of samples or ideas to stay or go. If you’re unsatisfied for any reason, you owe me nothing, and we part ways.

We are a group of Salesian Alumni who have come together because of our common love for Father Murphy. At some point in our lives, each one of us was touched by the giving man known as “the Murph”. We all have our own stories that will be shared on a regular basis on the website under the “Murph Stories” column.
As has been mention in this website, Father Murphy taught us through his example that if you could help those in need, you did. It was his gift to us. The gift of “Giving Back”!
So in that light, here are some brief bio’s on the group that today is known as the “Friends of Father Murphy”.
